Yesterday we went steelhead fishing at Walnut Creek. We also wanted to fish Conneaut Creek, but the recent rain and snowmelt caused the stream to be high and muddy. The creek was at a decent level, and very few other people fishing. The only problem was there weren't many fish to be found, and the ones that we did find and catch were all 20in and smaller, very few "normal" sized fish. We landed a couple and the weather was nice, except for the strong winds closer to the lake.

2/4/12 Two Mile Run Reservoir
Yesterday we went back out to Two Mile Run to catch some more trout. The air temperature was in the 40's most of the day and the fish were biting. When we first arrived there were fish to be seen everywhere and everyone was catching a bunch, but as the day went on the fish moved out into deeper water and we weren't catching nearly as many. We ended the day with around 25 brook trout, no rainbows or browns. The fish were caught on small wooly buggers casted out as far as we could and stripped in slowly, plastic minnows, and also live minnows.
